Scott Mazurek has been in the advertising and print industry for more than ten years.
He started his career as an apprentice in stripping and layout at American Color Chicago, the largest prepress company in North America. He quickly moved to color-imaging touchup on Crossfield 9500 workstations. With the introduction of Macs in the prepress industry, he began developing his expertise in all aspects of color separation within the Macintosh environment.
Scott received his Adobe Certification in Photoshop and Desktop Publishing Certification in 1994 at College of DuPage, IL. While at American Color, Scott refined his skills in color theory, using them for such clients as Marvel Comics, National Geographic, Intel, Iomega, Cidco MailStation, Golf Digest, Dillard's, Macy's, and American Stores.
Scott moved to Salt Lake City with American Stores in 1997 as an image touchup artist and page builder. In 2000, Scott began work with a local prepress and fine art reproduction firm, WHN Inc.
He eventually took over all Giclée fine art reproductions there. During the next three years, Scott continued studying the printing and prepress industry. He also completed multiple Microsoft and Comp-Tia Certifications, enabling him to skillfully assist colleagues and customers alike.
In 2003, Scott came to PrintechPlus with WHN Inc. and currently manages the IT/Storefront department.
